Here are a few pics from practice today. Fairly uneventful practice under overcast skies and relatively cooler temperatures. No skirmishes to report. Borchers sat out most of practice with pain in his right ankle (from his bone spur surgery). I have not heard an update, but don’t be surprised if he does not play tomorrow night out of caution to heal his ankle.
Practice featured some drills, a short fielded scrimmage, and practice on crossing and finishing. Zewe looks to be a physical, hustling player with good size. Probably not the most skilled, technical player.
Escalada has more technical ability. Probably a good back to the goal player, and also a good poaching type of goal scorer. Pretty precise with his finishing.
