De Graafschap have decided not to pursue their interest in Argentinian defender Matias Mantilla.
The 27-year-old former Real Salt Lake player is available on a free transfer, but failed to impress De Graafschap coach Henk van Stee during a recent trial with the club.
"Mantilla is not a player we need to give a contract to as he is no better than the players we already have," Van Stee told De Gelderlander.
"I got a good view of him during training. He was not great in build-up play and a little bit slow."
