MLS Preview: Houston Dynamo v. Real Salt Lake -> Goal.com/Pat Walsh
Real will try to use Dema Kovalenko to disrupt De Ro. The Ukrainian hardman should make life difficult for the Canadian if he is able to recover from an illness and suit up. Similarly, Ricardo Clark will try to slow down RSL’s playmaker Javier Morales. The Argentine has not registered an assist in two months and needs to find his passing touch if Real is to make a serious run at MLS Cup.

Mathis Joins Real Salt Lake -> Goal.com
We expect Clint to be able to step up in a plethora of roles and contribute. Clint chose RSL over several other offers and really wanted to come back to Salt Lake. We have embraced his return with open arms."

RSL's Williams Battles On And Off the Field -> Goal.com/Randy Davis
It’s his talk of his family that brings us to Williams’s second battle, a much more important one. On July 3rd of this year, just moments before the kickoff of an RSL match -- coincidentally, against Houston -- Williams received some heart-wrenching news: His wife Marcia (pronounced “mar-see-yah”) had been diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia, which would require a bone-marrow transplant and chemotherapy.

Real Salt Lake: Olave's hard-nosed play belies his gentle nature -> Deseret News/Michael Black
On the field, the 27-year-old Colombian is a monster. He is a physical specimen whose hard-nosed play has sent many opponents wayward wishing they never would have tangled.

RSL: Is second time a charm for Clint Mathis? -> Salt Lake Tribune/Tony Jones
"I guess I have a short memory," Kreis said. "Clint didn't hurt his reputation when he was here. He was a great guy in the locker room, and I don't feel like he did anything bad. I think the main problem for Clint is that people were expecting so much out of him, and frankly the team around him wasn't good enough for him to be a star."
