So I received some info shortly after posting the previous thoughts about roster space. Here is what I have learned:
1) Unnamed new striker (let's call him Espy), should be here within a couple of weeks.
2) Arrangements to acquire this unnamed striker is not believed to be a loan. (Although it's not clear if this is a free acquisition or if there is a transfer fee involved)
3) My previous post about opening up a roster spot seems to be on the right track.
