David Horst out 4-6 weeks/Borchers x-rays negative

In addition to the injury to Nat Borchers ankle, David Horst has a torn right meniscus and will have surgery on Friday to repair that. He will be out a minimum of 4-6 weeks.

Also the x-rays came back on Borchers and they are negative. The decision to play will be left up to him, as he is medically able to go. It will likely come down to his mobility and his ability to tolerate the pain.

With this news, it appears that Real Salt Lake has a thin corps of center backs. Robbie Russell is available for this role, as is Jamison Olave. But if Borchers can't go tomorrow, who is the backup at that position?

My guess would be Chris Wingert who won the Hermann Trophy playing center back in college at St. Johns, and played that position in his rookie year with Columbus. That would leave the team with two young fullbacks in Raphael Cox and Tony Beltran.
