Bone Marrow Drive for Marcia Williams

I was able to attend the recent bone marrow drive for Marcia at Rio Tinto Stadium. It really was an easy process, and I'm glad I went. Unfortunately we had some snow and freezing temperatures that morning which probably affected the turnout. However, it's still easy to sign up to be a donor, read here to find out how. Please sign up to be a donor - it's quick and painless and can mean life or death to someone else. If you are selected as a donor, it's not likely that you'll have surgery. Surgery is required only 20-30% of the time. The rest of the time its a process similar to platelet donation.
