Headin' Down to SoCal

The Keepin' it Real crew is heading down to sunny SoCal for tomorrow's match against Chivas at the Home Depot Center. Although the drive may be a bit brutal we're looking forward to this. There is alot of optimisim, and alot of reason for optimism on the RSL side, but this is another big game test for this team and this game will be a measuring stick for the progress of the team from a mental toughness and professional maturity standpoint.

One of the keys to this match will be the play in the midfield. Look for Kljestan to get forward much more than in leg #1, and look for them to try to employ their 1 and 2-touch passing style to a greater degree. If they are successful at this, RSL may struggle to keep them off of the board.

From the RSL side if Javi is able to abuse the Chivas midfield like he did in the opener, then it's game over and Chivas can start on their offseason preparations.

I personally think that 1 goal in this series is not going to be enough. Let's hope we come out as aggressive as the team has talked about all week and manage to net another one.

My prediction: 1-1 draw, RSL advances on aggregate.

Hopefully we'll have some pics and good stories upon our return. In the meantime, cheer the team on and GO RSL!
