Dario Sala out against RSL? -> FC Dallas Updates
Dario had to sit out the second part of today's practice with an injury to his left foot, which happened earlier in training...David Mosalve and goalkeeper coach Drew Keeshan each defended a goal during the short-sided games...Josh Lambo has been told that next week he can resume full training...we're bringing both Monsalve and Mike Graczyk to Salt Lake to be available for Saturday and Sunday. Ray will remain in Portland this weekend.

The rise of FC Dallas' Arturo Alvarez -> Soccer America
SHIFTING TO A THREE-MAN BACK line is the most visible difference between last year and this year for FC Dallas, yet another, more subtle change may have even greater long-term effects. A flank midfielder for most of his five-year pro career, Arturo Alvarez is playing up top for FC Dallas as a speedy, raiding foil for the burly Kenny Cooper and attacking midfielder Juan Toja. (Realslfan: this is a good read for the upcoming match as it gives some insight into the tactics we are likely to see. Also in my book Alvarez is one of the more underrated players in the league)
